Have you ever dreamed about becoming a firefighter or maybe a police officer? Here's your chance! Take part in 2026 Public Safety Field Day. The free, public event features all kinds of fun, educational and interactive demonstrations for the whole family.

It takes place on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City of Aurora Public Safety Training Center.  That's located at 25950 E. Quincy Ave., next to the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds.

Public Safety Field Day is presented by the Rotary Clubs of Aurora and hosted by Aurora Fire Rescue and the Aurora Police Department.

Donations are appreciated for the purchase of a mobile safety trailer for fire education in area schools.
