The NAACP and the city are teaming up for Aurora's annual Juneteenth celebration. It takes place Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Restoration Christian Fellowship at 15660 E. 6th Ave.

Safe, adequate and well-maintained infrastructure is essential to the city’s economic health and impacts every resident’s quality of life.

Aurora is truly “The World in a City,” and nowhere is that more apparent than at Aurora Fest, the city’s signature event showcasing international cultures.

The East Colfax BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) project is coming to Aurora. There'll be two events happening on May 1, and you're invited to both. The first is the groundbreaking for the work in Aurora. It takes place at 10 a.m.
