The City of Aurora, along with volunteers from Sam's Club, planted ten new trees at Utah Park for the city's "Greener Communities, Brighter Futures" initiative.  It's part of the larger "Reinvesting in Aurora's Urban Canopy for Social Equity and Climate Resilience" project that was launched in 2023 when the city received a $5 million dollar grant from the U.S. Forestry Service to support Aurora's urban forest growth.
