The I-70 Picadilly Diverging Diamond Interchange is a major step forward for transportation in the region. By extending Picadilly Road between Colfax Avenue and Smith Road, and adding a new interchange at I-70, the project creates an important north-south connection that hasn’t existed before.

Closing this long-standing gap strengthens the overall roadway network and positions Picadilly Road as a key regional route. The new interchange improves safety, eases congestion, and makes it easier for residents and businesses to reach job centers, growing neighborhoods, and Denver International Airport, the nation’s third busiest.
