The City's TV Station
We Might Need a Bigger Broom

It's time for a little spring cleaning and for this job; we might need a bigger broom. The city of Aurora street sweepers do an amazing job at cleaning about 26,000 tons of debris off our streets twice a year.  But considering each person produces about 4.4 pounds of trash a day—in Aurora alone that’s about 300,000 tons a year since we are about 374,000 residents here—it definitely “takes a village” to keep Aurora clean.

AuroraTV went behind the scenes with a crew to see just what it takes to make our streets sparkle.
