Subira Abuaba, of Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, was selected as one of two student delegates from Colorado for the United States Senate Youth Program.

The highly competitive program brings kids from across the country to Washington D.C. for a week of tours, meetings and a firsthand look at how the federal government operates.
