She Plays Aurora.  It's the name of a new campaign created by the city's Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department with the goal of getting more girls to take part in youth sports.

Girls can try basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football tennis and more in a fun, welcoming environment led by Aurora coaches. It takes place Sunday, March 15 at the city's Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse. Whether it’s a girl's first time picking up a ball or she’s ready to try something new, the day will be all about confidence, community and getting in the game.
