Tajah Eugene, a high jumper and hurdler at Vista PEAK Preparatory, is AuroraTV's Athlete of the Month from Aurora Public Schools for April 2026.  Eugene is a four-time state qualifier, and has been named to the all-conference team.  She's been on the dean's list every year of high school, and plans to continue her education at North Carolina A&T in the fall.

Cooper Mathews, a wrestler from Cherokee Trail High School, is AuroraTV's Athlete of the Month from the Cherry Creek School District for April 2026.  Mathews is a two-time state champion and just won the gold medal for Team USA at the Pan-American Games in Panama.  Mathews is a three time all-state first team selection, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and has been named to the honor roll each semester.
