Aurora Sparks is a new, youth-driven, licensed after-school program provided by the city's Parks and Rec Department that puts creativity and choice at the center of all activities. Each week, kids explore hands-on fun like robotics, art, gaming, and tech, guided by their own interests. The program builds teamwork and self-expression and ends with a Showcase Night where kids can celebrate and show off their work.

Ages: 5 to 12

When: Monday to Friday, 3 to 6 p.m.

Where: Central Recreation Center, 18150 E. Vassar Place and Moorhead Recreation Center, 2390 Havana Street

Weekly Cost: $95 ($75 Resident)

Scholarships/Discounts: 50% program discounts are available to families based on qualifications. Application and information can be found at AuroraGov.org/YouthServices.
