After nearly a year of renovations, Utah Pool officially reopened April 6.  

The city of Aurora hosted a grand reopening celebration for the community, which featured prizes and giveaways, free swim lessons, a log standing competition, and popular amenities like the kids water playground, the diving boards, and the slides.

Aquatics supervisor Bryce Pesek says the pool is an important staple for the neighborhood it's located in, and for the community as a whole because of the competitions it can host.
