Aurora Water conducts over 85,000 tests across its system and the city each year.
One testing site is Aurora Reservoir, where water quality analysts take samples twice a month to monitor conditions and establish a baseline.
Once those samples are collected, they’re analyzed in the lab at Aurora Water’s SEAM facility, and a treatability report is produced. Operators at the city's Binney Water Purification plant use that data to ensure the water meets health and compliance standards.
