On Dec. 15, the city of Aurora announced the launch of the “Recharge your Batteries” campaign to provide awareness of new or existing programs and events offered to youth by the city of Aurora and some of its partners from Dec. 20 through Dec. 31. The city’s Youth Violence Prevention Program is leading this effort.  In light of the recent violent events in Aurora involving youth, this campaign provides awareness of new or existing programs offered by the city to provide youth with safe places to go and activities to do during winter break.
