Aurora kicks off our 38th annual commemoration of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. There are several events happening over the next week and throughout the month. They include everything from a virtual Student Film Fest put on by the Community College of Aurora and airing here on AuroraTV, to the traditional wreath-laying ceremony outside Aurora's Martin Luther King, Jr. Library. Also on this week's show, the Aurora Fox Theatre is gearing up for its 39th season. We have a preview and an in-studio interview with the new executive producer. We'll also introduce you to some of the Aurora Police Department's Police Area Representatives who are also known as PAR officers. They work directly with neighborhood residents, groups and businesses to make our community safer; and we'll help you get ready for "Museum Selfie Day" on Jan. 17 at the Aurora History Museum. Those stories and many more this week on Aurora Now.
