The Aurora Animal Shelter needs a new home, and you can help make that happen. Take part in the first-ever "Wine and Wags" fundraiser happening August 27 at The Lake House at Cherry Creek Reservoir.  AuroraTV talks with At-Large Council Member Danielle Jurinsky who came up with the idea. Find out what the event is all about and why the shelter needs a bigger space after 40 years at its current location. Also on this week's show, our special series on Aurora's Teen Court program continues with a look at the student attorneys deciding their peers' fate; how Aurora police officers and the rest of us can spot and help those suffering from Alzheimer's and the connection between singer Celine Dion, CU Coach Deion Sanders and some of our hospitals at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. Those stories and much more this week on Aurora Now.
