The month of April is known for showers, spring flowers and maybe even the Easter bunny. It's also The Month of the Military Child. The Aurora chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart recently hosted an event at Sky Vista Middle School to honor our local military children for their service to our country. Mayor Coffman, a veteran and former military child himself, attended and proclaimed April as "The Month of the Military Child" in Aurora. He encourages everyone in our city to honor and celebrate the military children who call Aurora home.
