Most of us consider our pets to be part of the family. That’s why the city of Aurora teams up with Nick’s Garden Center each year for Pet Pics with Santa, an event that benefits the Aurora Animal Shelter.

Furry, feathered and even scaly pets posed with St. Nick for festive photos. For a $10 donation, families received both a printed photo and a digital keepsake, with all proceeds supporting the shelter.

Organizers say Pet Pics with Santa continues to be a fun holiday tradition that brings the community together while supporting a great cause.
