HawkQuest, a Colorado nonprofit founded in 1986, joins us in the studio with an American icon. Kin Quitugua, the program's creator and master falconer, rescued a female bald eagle in 1999. She was rehabilitated at a facility in Washington and is now an imprint. In addition to her, Quitugua works with eagles, owls, falcons, and hawks. Together, they educate hundreds of thousands of children each year about these birds through unique programs like HawkQuest's Classroom-in-the-Wild
