Aurora's Plains Conservation Center recently hosted their first-ever Community Tipi Build. The center teamed up with local Native nations to put up four tipis representing the Cheyenne, Arapaho, Lakota and Kiowa whose ancestral land is home to Aurora. The goal of the unique program was to share some Native American culture, heritage and history.
