Norma Walker made history in 1965 after she became the first woman in the country to be elected mayor of a city the size of Aurora. AuroraTV teams up with the Aurora History Museum to celebrate her life and legacy after her passing at the age of 95. You can also hear directly from Norma Walker in an interview she gave in 2016. Also on this week's show, students from Aurora Highlands P-8 win the W.a.M.O.S. shoe design contest; students at Aurora's Altitude Elementary host a Veterans Day Parade featuring a World Ward II vet as the grand marshall; and honoring members of the Aurora Police Department's Honor Guard. Those stories and many more this week on Aurora Now.
