How can we reimagine northwest Aurora? The area along East Colfax includes our historic Fox Arts Center, our Aurora Cultural Arts District and all kinds of mom and pop restaurants offering food from around the world. Northwest Aurora is also our city's most diverse neighborhood. A new documentary film called "America's Hidden Gem: Northwest Aurora" just premiered at the Fox and helped kick off a new effort called Reimagine Northwest Aurora. Learn how you can help at ReimagineNWAurora.com. Also on this week's show, a coloring competition to showcase the Aurora History Museum's "Historic Buildings of Aurora" coloring book; a preview of Aurora Fire Rescue's Camp Spark which helps build young women's leadership and confidence skills through hands-on firefighting activities; and an adorable update on the Aurora Municipal Center's resident geese Gracie and George who are now the proud parents of goslings. Those stories and many more this week on Aurora Now.
