Located by the Aurora Reservoir and Southlands Shopping Center, this is the biggest and newest recreation center in the city. Aurora broke ground on their recreation center in Feburary of 2021 and a year later, the facility the is really starting to take shape. AuroraTV brings you a tour of what is inside this beautiful 76,000 square-foot building.  The center will also include integrated public art. After a public process, the city’s Art in Public Places Program selected the team artist team Project One Studio of Indianapolis to develop an art installation, “Florescence,” that will be integrated through the recreation center.
