What was once Stanley Aviation is now Stanley Marketplace.  

It's a collection of more than 50 independent shops, restaurants, and other businesses. This year marks the 10th anniversary for Stanley Marketplace.

To celebrate, they hosted the "Taste of Stanley" event, and we spoke with a business owner who has been there since the doors opened back in 2016.

Long before it became a popular destination, Stanley Aviation was Aurora’s largest employer. The company designed, tested and manufactured ejector seats for military aircraft.

Its founder, Bob Stanley, not only invented the ejector seat—he was also the first American to fly a jet plane.
