An Aurora911 call taker was honored with two Phoenix Awards from Aurora Fire Rescue this year. Her actions helped relay critical life-saving measures for two people who were in cardiac arrest.

The 7th annual Light Their Way Home display was at the Colorado Freedom Memorial. Over 6,200 luminaries were placed in front of the memorial in honor of every Colorado Veteran killed in action since 1876.
