The 2023 Colorado Teacher of the Year, Aurora's Jimmy Day, joined fellow winners from across the nation at a NASA Space Camp this month.

Day is an Aurora Public Schools' music teacher at East Middle School.  He spent several days learning everything from what it's like to walk on the moon to team building.

The camp took place at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Alabama.
