The documentary film "Destination Colfax" premiered at the Aurora Fox Arts Center on May 1, 2026. That was the same day the Aurora groundbreaking for the East Colfax BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) took place. The documentary features the unique and storied history of travel, transit and life along the iconic avenue. 

It's produced by Ashley L. Bushey with Peak Consulting Group LLC.

It features parts of East Colfax in Aurora along with an interview with Chris Geddes, who works at the Aurora History Museum and is the city's Historic Preservation Specialist.
