Brooklyn Burke, an Eaglecrest High School hip-hop dancer, is AuroraTV's Athlete of the Month from Cherry Creek Schools for January 2026.  Burke is a four-time state champion, a first-team all state selection, and a team captain.  Additionally, she is a Link Leader at Eaglecrest, and completed her certified nurse's assistant program through the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus.

Myia Young, an Aurora Central High School swimmer, is AuroraTV's Athlete of the Month from Aurora Public Schools for January 2026.  Young is a team captain, two-time MVP, and is on the school's honor roll.  In addition, she's a mentor for her younger teammates, is on honor's choir, and became a sergeant through the JROTC program.
