Aurora's Martin Luther King Jr. Library Doubles in Size and Has Many Unique New Offerings
Start Time (in seconds)
End Time (in seconds)

The MLK Library is now 14,000 square feet after opening the second story to the public. There are more books, more stations to access the internet and an all-new makerspace that includes 3D printers, laser printing, sewing machines and more.

The improvements focus on STEM programming, learning opportunities and ensuring that residents in the area have high-speed internet for jobs, homework or online schooling.

Other enhancements include youth learning zones, multi-purpose rooms and a new children’s play area on the renovated first floor. The $2.5 million in total upgrades was paid for through Community Project Funding secured by Congressman Jason Crow from the federal government in 2023.
