A new program in Aurora aims to save lives by providing free, inclusive swimming lessons. Statistics show minorities are much more likely to drown, because of a history of segregation, limited access to pools and a generational fear of water. The city is working hard to right that wrong. Also on this week's show, we get a fun, behind-the-scenes glimpse of Utah Pool ahead of its reopening; we tag along on the final tower climb for the latest graduates of the Aurora Police Department Academy; and why our furry friends may be to blame for our sniffling and sneezing. The Aurora Animal Shelter explains how to cope. Those stories and more this week on Aurora Now.
