The Aurora Police Department is taking the 30x30 pledge. It’s a national initiative to have 30 percent of their recruitment class be made up of women by 2030. We’ll take a look at what it means and hear from current female APD officers. Also on this week’s show, Aurora’s Public Works Department has been busy clearing ice and snow from neighborhood streets. We’ll check in with them, and hear what you can do to help. We’ll also have an in-studio performance from the new show at The People’s Building, “Amadeus.” And, find out how you can help Aurora’s Parks, Rec and Open Space Department take the top spot in the “Best of Mile High” competition. Those stories and many more this week on Aurora Now.
