On January 8th, 2021, Governor Jared Polis announced Coloradans 70 and older could get the COVID-19 vaccine. Days later, Jessica Kim, an 85-year-old mask maker who handmade thousands of face coverings for essential Aurora workers, received her first shot. Kim recalls a similar time more than half a century ago when the polio vaccine was made available in her country of South Korea. See why she feels like she won the "health lottery" all over again and how her family is continuing to pay it forward!
