Aurora911's Cheri Kline has been selected as the 2023 Telecommunicator of the Year. Cheri began her career with the City of Aurora in November 2001, and for nearly 22 years, she has served the residents, visitors and public safety partners of Aurora with professionalism, compassion and respect. Cheri continues to support the success of Aurora911 as a Communications Training Officer, ensuring that new team members are supported and coached to full independence on the job.  The national award was presented by NICE, a company that serves emergency communication centers.
