Maddie Lange, a cross country runner from Cherokee Trail High School, is AuroraTV’s Athlete of the Month from Cherry Creek Schools for August 2026. Lange was named team MVP and Colorado Freshman of the Year in 2025 and has continued to excel as a sophomore, helping lead the school to a sixth place finish in the pre-state meet. She also shines in the classroom, carrying a 3.7 GPA.

Jesse Olson, a cross country runner from Vista PEAK Prep, is AuroraTV’s Athlete of the Month from Aurora Public Schools for August 2026. Olson is a senior and two-year team captain, providing leadership both on and off the course. He has also maintained a strong academic record, earning Honor Roll recognition all four years of high school.
