There's a free, and powerful event happening next week at the Aurora Municipal Center that can help all of us learn and grow. It's called "A Night of Remembrance" featuring Holocaust survivor, Osi Sladek.
Osi's incredible story will challenge you to understand the Holocaust through a young child's eyes, empower you to treat others with empathy, and inspire you to stand up to hatred.
"A Night of Remembrance" takes place Tuesday, June 27, at 6:00pm, and it will also be live-streamed at AuroraTV.org. The city's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is teaming up with the Mizel Museum to present the event. Even though it's free to attend, you do need to register in advance, because space is limited.
