On April 18, 2024, Bruno Denegri's school day at Grandview High School took an unexpected turn. Amazon employees surprised the senior with a $40,000 scholarship. Denegri is one of 400 students nationwide to receive the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship. He plans to use the funds to pursue degrees in civil engineering and computer science at the Colorado School of Mines.
