Five Star Multiple Services provides five-star service to the community, assisting with tax preparation, immigration bonds, paralegal support, notary services, Spanish/English translation and more. And they do it all with just five employees. Owner Arturo Ortega, a native of Mexico, started his business more than 20 years ago to serve Hispanic residents moving to Aurora. Five Star Multiple Services welcomes the immigrant community not just in Aurora, but as far north as Brighton and south to El Paso County. The company offers quick, efficient service and personalized, one-on-one attention 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Because the business is small and family owned, it’s easy to resolve issues quickly and make ongoing improvements to meet customer needs. Ortega’s daughter, Michelle Bales, helped the business pivot during the pandemic to reach people electronically, and most of their younger clients continue to receive services virtually. Michelle is poised to continue the business into the future, always looking for ways to grow and improve their services, such as adding bookkeeping. Beyond supporting the community with a range of services, Five Star Multiple Services gives back in other ways, donating money to a local baseball team to get new uniforms and collaborating with Aurora Public Schools on projects.
