This year marks 70 years since the end of World War II.  Aurora’s Colorado Freedom Memorial hosted a special tribute to the greatest generation.

Richard Over served in the 10th Mountain Division of the Army.  He was part of the team that fought in central Italy and ultimately took Allied forces one step closer to victory.

Lou Zoghby served in the 17th and 82nd Army Airborne Divisions. From the Battle of the Bulge to Operation Varsity, his memories are so vivid.  They are an important part of our American military history.

James Blane served in the 4th Marine Division.  He participated in four battles across the Pacific including Iwo Jima.
